Recent changes to the New Zealand First Home Buyers Grant now mean its easier than ever to purchase your first home!

The government recently announced that the first home buyers cap has been lifted across the country. This means that more people buying new build homes could be eligible for up to $10,000 per person up to two people equalling $20,000.

See below the updated prices that a new build home must fall under to be eligible for the grant.

previously $700,000

Christchurch $750,000
previously $550,000

Wellington $925,000
previously $650,000

Tauranga $875,000
previously $550,000

Many Williams Corporation homes now fall under the threshold making them in line for the grant.
